This is a presidential proclamation (Proclamation 10907, signed March 24, 2025) declaring March 25, 2025 as “Greek Independence Day: A National Day of Celebration of Greek and American Democracy.” It is a ceremonial, honorary designation that recognizes the 204th anniversary of the start of the Greek War of Independence and calls on Americans to observe the day.
